Fun Folds with Magnolia Lane

Hello friends.

Today I'm sharing some fun fold cards using one of my most favourite suites in the Annual Catalogue. I know that I have confessed this before, so I don't think you'll mind too much if I share some more projects with you.

I absolutely love this double easel fold card, it's so much fun to put together. So much fun, that I made this and the second card that I'm sharing today, as the projects for our last class. Everyone loved putting these together and I was so pleased that they were happy with their cards. You could certainly add another layer behind the DSP, but we just kept it simple.

There are so many beautiful patterns in the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper, that any of them would work well on this card. And the featured opening blossom, is die-cut straight from the paper with the coordinating Magnolia Memory Dies!
I added some soft sparkle to the bloom using the Wink of Stella pen, which unfortunately is difficult to see in these photo's but it looks really pretty.

Do you love the font of the 'Happy Birthday'? I do.
It's from a stamp set that isn't in our Annual Catalogue with the Magnolia suite of products. It's a sweet little stand alone stamp set that's available in our Beginners Brochure. It's called Magnolia Blooms and you can order it separately or purchase the bundle of products that has its own unique item number. They are all designed to coordinate with the Magnolia Lane suite. If you're interested to find out more, just let me know and I can explain it to you.
I've never used Mossy Meadow ink much before, but as it's one of the colours in the DSP, I'm really loving the gorgeous warmth of the colour, especially for sentiments. Petal Pink is another one of the colours and here I made a bow from the 5/8" organdy striped ribbon.

Here is the second card.

This is a reverse easel fold card that I found on Samantha Clayton's YouTube channel.
This really is such a pretty card with the big magnolia as the main focus. I stamped the same sentiment and this time I made the bow using the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.
Your personal message can be written at the back of the card.

I love both of these cards so much, and the fun I had in putting them together.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing them on your visit today.

I have another Magnolia Lane inspired project that I'll be sharing in my next post.
I hope you'll stop by to check it out.

Until then,
Happy Crafting.😘
