Petal Passion - Class thank you's

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by.
I thought I would share my class thank you gifts with you all today.

Petal Passion DSP

The Petal Passion Suite in the Occasions Catalogue is one of the prettiest in the entire catalogue. From the DSP to the gorgeous organza ribbon to the stamp set and coordinating dies, it is one of my absolute favourites. Sadly all but the stamp set, dies and Petal Pair TIEF are retiring. I'm VERY happy that these are carrying over into the NEW catalogue but I'm really going to miss the beautiful DSP, not to mention the ribbon! If you love this paper as much as I do you can still order it up until May 31st or while supplies last, along with the other retiring items from this suite.

So on with my project!

Get those pens ready for writing your 'Wish List' of products from the new catalogue.
You can never have too many pens right?!
I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought that it would be a lovely way to gift a pen as a thank you to my class ladies. There is also a "sneaky peak" of a brand new ribbon that will be available from June 1st.

I LOVE all of the patterns in this DSP and it's so versatile! The flowers can be coloured individually with our blender pens or markers, or sponge the designs in any colour to change the entire look completely! How fantastic is that?!
For the thank you, I used a stamp from 'A Good Day' stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue. This is a cute little set and is being carried over into the 2018-2019 catalogue.
If you would like to purchase anything from my online store, just click on the 'Shop Online With Caroline' button over on the right hand side of my blog. It's easy and FREE to set up an account or click on any of the images below in the Product List to be taken directly to that item in the store for more information.

So I'll end here by saying thank you again for stopping by today.

Have a great day and see you back here again soon.

Until next time.....

AWH Team - April Blog Hop - Saying Goodbye to our Retiring Products

Hello friends and welcome to another hop with the Art With Heart Team.

Tonight, members of the team are sharing projects that feature retiring products. It's always sad to say goodbye to products that have become firm favourites and I am showing just a few of mine tonight. But let me tell you that the 2018-2019 catalogue is AMAZING and you will quickly find new favourites to love.
In the meantime retiring stamp sets, ink pads and ink refills are guaranteed to be available until May 7th and all other products are while supplies last.
Contact anyone on the blog hop to place your last chance order today.

Now let's get started with my projects.

I decided to make my friend Annmaree, a laminated notebook and a set of note-cards for her birthday recently.
She loves bright and fun colours so I couldn't go past using the beautiful Painted with Love Specialty DSP for these projects and I think it was the perfect choice. I just love this DSP!

On the inside cover of the notebook is a little calendar and a small pocket for stamps or receipts and a larger pocket in the back.

The little pens that I found in a clearance bin at Officeworks, match the DSP perfectly! They came in a pack of 3 and I'm really wishing I had of bought more! Can you think of a stamp set that these little pens would also be a perfect match for? Look closely at what's on them. 😊
I embossed in gold the little flower image from the 'Heart Happiness' stamp set, and cut out using our stitched shapes circle framelits to decorate the front of the pockets as well as the front of the notebook.
I added a bit of "bling" with a gold mini tassel and metallic enamel shape.

Next I made a set of five 3" x 3" note-cards and matching envelopes.

To decorate the front of the cards I have used the 'Flower Shop' stamp set and coordinating Pansy punch. I have again embossed in gold onto Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Powder Pink, punched them out and stuck them onto a stitched circle framelit in Whisper White with dimensionals. I've attached a gold metallic enamel shape to each of the flower centre's. I'm really going to miss this punch and stamp set. I found the flowers to be so versatile for any occasion card. I have even used them on sympathy cards.

The matching envelopes.

Using the envelope punch board I made a box to hold the cards and envelopes.

Front of the box

and the back. I attached a mini velcro dot to keep it closed.

And lastly here is the birthday card and matching envelope.

Instead of embossing the flowers in gold, I stamped tone on tone and gold embossed the sentiment. I raised a couple of the flowers up with dimensionals and the others are adhered flat. I used a piece of the Wood Textures DSP and then layered onto Rich Razzleberry and a Melon Mambo card base.

Here is a list of the retiring products I've used in my projects.

OnStage Sydney - Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary 2018.

Hello lovely friends!
The breathtaking view from our Hotel room!

Today I thought I would share some images with you all, from my recent trip to Sydney for Stampin' Up!'s OnStage convention at Luna Park. It was an absolutely fantastic day and the atmosphere was simply buzzing with excitement! In fact, I think I'm still buzzing!
From the sample boards to swapping, the delicious lunch to our yummy afternoon-tea cupcake, onstage demonstrations, the NEW catalogue launch, training, product spotlight, recognition, make-and-takes, etc, etc, etc, it was a "jam-packed" event!

Yummy!!!

When we arrived at check-in, this was the gorgeous bag we received!

And the "goodies" kept coming!
These are just a few of the wonderful items we all received. Of course sharing the day with one of my lovely downlines, (her first OnStage event), and equally lovely fellow team member, were highlights for me.

Here we are having our photo taken together.
From the left, my friend and fellow AWH team member Jan, friend and down-line Liz and me.

Our gorgeous CEO Sara. (I think I make her look taller!) 😉

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of demonstrators make swaps. I made 20 of these and received some lovely swaps in return.

I thought I would share the measurements with you all.

I have a list of the products I've used to create my swaps below.

Well that's it from me today friends, I hope you have enjoyed the photos I've shared here. If you would like to know more about Stampin' Up! OnStage events or joining my team, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Of course, if you already have a demonstrator, I'm sure they would have told you about these wonderful events. They are such great fun and the atmosphere is electric!

Until next time.....
Stay happy & stay crafty! 😘
