Hello crafting friends.
We're up to Week 9 of our Heart of Christmas blog hop. I'm finding so much inspiration from the Art with Heart team's Christmas creations and I hope you are too.
Inspiration for the card I made for tonight's hop, came from one that a friend gave to me.
She made it in a class she attended some time ago. (Not a Stampin' Up! class)
My friends card.
And here is the one I created using our products.
For the banners, I used the Banner Triple punch, the three gorgeous coloured glimmer paper's are part of the Joyous Noel Suite.
The banners are mounted onto the two Festive Farmhouse DSP panels with dimensionals. In the two outside corners of the left and right banners, I used the Detailed Trio punch.
I chose to go with a vanilla card base because that is one of the neutral colours in the DSP pack. For the horizontal banners I used the striped burlap ribbon. The greeting from the Dashing Deer stamp set, was stamped in shaded spruce and die-cut with a layering square framelit and backed with a stitched square of the DSP. I embellished with a faceted gem and a bow made from the Braided Linen Trim.
On the inside of the card, I glued down a separate vanilla writing panel and added a strip of the DSP to the bottom. I really like this layout. The sentiment is also from the Dashing Deer stamp set.
Thank you for joining us each week for our Heart of Christmas hop.
