Acetate Gift Box

Hi everyone.
I didn't think that I'd be back so soon, and before Christmas too, but I wanted to share a fantastic sectioned gift box using Stampin' Up!'s C6 Acetate Card Boxes.

I CASE'd this idea from Rachel Tessman, a US Demonstrator.

I made up my own measurements for the separate sections, for my specific little gifts. I'm so happy with how this gift box turned out.
I did use some retired foil cardstock and ribbon, but we have so many other beautiful foils and ribbons to choose from in our current catalogues, if you decide to make one of these for yourself. You could also use Designer Series Paper or regular cardstock.

I popped the star cookie inside one of the 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bags. These bags are Food Safe - an added bonus.

The gorgeous little snowman is from the Snowman Season stamp set, and I stamped it in Memento Black ink. His rhinestone buttons are from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack.

This is so cute. I can't wait to give it to my friend for Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a wonderful Christmas & New Year.
See you in 2020.

I read and appreciate every single one. 😘💗

Add a little Sparkle!

The Art With Heart team are back with our last blog hop for 2019.
Getting into the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebrations, our theme tonight is 'Add a Little Sparkle'.
We have a huge range of sparkly projects to share with you, featuring products such as, Glimmer Paper, Rhinestones, Delicata Ink, Shimmery white cardstock and much more. All of these products are available from Stampin' Up!. If you have any questions about the products, just ask any of the lovely ladies in tonight's hop.

My project features the beautiful 6" x 6" Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Both sides of the paper are equally beautiful, but for my sparkly project I used the silver foil designs.

Silver and White together send out a lovely, bright and happy vibe I believe. The combination can be used for so many celebratory occasions - Engagements, Weddings, Christenings, Anniversaries, significant birthdays, and of course, Christmas.

I made these tree ornaments for each of the ladies that attended my last card class for 2019. Inside is a yummy peppermint Lindt chocolate ball.
It is an Origami fold, and I found this on the YouTube channel of Mixed Up Craft.

A hole, punched in the top of each folded triangle, allows you to thread the ribbon through and gently pull to draw it closed. (The red ribbon shown above is retired).
The hanging loops are made with a strand from the 5/8" Flax Ribbon.
For some extra sparkle, I punched out a 1 3/8" scalloped circle from Silver Glimmer paper. The Real Red sentiment comes from the #Elfie stamp set, this was backed with the smaller scallop punch in Real Red cardstock. A couple of red rhinestones finish off the embellishing.

It's time to thank the lovely Rachel Woollard for stepping in and hosting the remaining monthly Art With Heart team blog hops for 2019. And a thank you also, to our other team members who have hosted blog hops throughout the year. We have a wonderful and supportive team, ready to put up their hand when needed - thank you ladies.

The next demonstrator to share their sparkly project with us is, the delightful and talented Tina Gillespie.

If you find a broken link or have come to this blog hop from a different entry point, below is the list of tonight's participants.

Heart of Christmas - Week 16

Hello friends.
Welcome to our last Heart of Christmas for 2019.

I hope that you have enjoyed all of the wonderful Christmas projects, that the Art With Heart team have shared with you over the past 15 weeks.
I also hope that you have found plenty of inspiration for your own Christmas crafting.

Tonight, the card I'm sharing with you is my first attempt at a Pop & Twist Fun Fold card.
(The measurements for this card come from Maymay Made It.)

To make this card, I've used the Brightly Gleaming Suite again.
Regardless of the style of card or 3D project, you will always get an elegant result by using these beautiful patterned papers and coordinating products.

In the photo above, I have captured the gorgeous copper accents in the Designer Series Paper. It's not always easy to take great photos of projects that feature shiny foil elements, so you may just have to purchase this beautiful DSP for yourself, to see it in real life - (wink, wink).

In the photo above, the lighting makes it easier to see the lovely filigree edging on the Pretty Peacock frame. This die, and the Subtle embossed copper foil shape are from the Ornate Frame Dies. The sentiment, stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Very Vanilla cardstock, comes from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. I have cropped this with a Stitched Rectangles die.

Inside is where the "WOW"! takes place.
The mechanism for the 'pop & twist' function, is so easy to make. I wish I had come up with this idea myself - it's just so clever!

I stamped another sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and again, I used dies from the Ornate Frames die set.
The copper sprigs on the left and right of the small squares, come from the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements. The writing panel is a stitched rectangle in Very Vanilla.

And for the last time, I'll direct you now to the blog of our lovely Judy May, who is hosting this final Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2019. Click here to see Judy's fabulous project and the list of tonight's hop participants, and their equally fabulous creations.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our lovely team leader, Claire Daly, for her continued support and encouragement to participate in not only our team hops, but for all things Stampin' Up! and team related. Thank you Claire 😘

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, and a happy & healthy 2020.🎅🎄
