AWH Team - Colour Creations Week 17 - Garden Green

Hello and welcome, everyone.

It's Week 17 in our Colour Creations Showcase, and tonight members of the team are sharing projects featuring - Garden Green.

Garden Green is a lovely, earthy green from the Regals Collection of Stampin' Up! colours. It features predominantly on my card with a little Old Olive, plus gold and brass foil accents.

When I read that this weeks colour was Garden Green, I instantly thought of the Forever Greenery Suite from the Annual Catalogue. This was the perfect choice for me, as I'm not that great at thinking outside the box!

Using the long, stitched rectangle die from the All Dressed Up Dies, I cut strips of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and glued them on an angle onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cropped this entire piece with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper

If you're a fan of 'green', then this is the paper pack for you.
Besides Garden Green there is Pear Pizzazz, Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam.

I attached the diagonal strips panel, with dimensionals, to a piece of Whisper White matted with Garden Green card stock. I dry embossed this matted panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I love the narrow border, and there's so much texture from the embossing.

The sentiment was heat embossed with Versamark, Garden Green ink and clear embossing powder. It's from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. The leaves are from the Forever Fern stamp set and stamped in Garden Green. It's cropped with a Stitched Shapes Die.
I love the bow! It's made with the gold twine from the trim pack in the Forever Greenery suite and the Old Olive ribbon from All the Trimmings combo pack in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue.

I used gold foil leaves from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper as well as die-cut leaves in Garden Green and Old Olive from the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies. The leaves are attached with glue dots and so is the Gold Hoop embellishment. The sentiment circle is added with dimensionals.

I couldn't resist adding a little brass foil butterfly to the leaves. You'll find this little cutie in the Well Written Dies set. They're not in focus in this photo, but I coloured some clear basic rhinestones using my dark Old Olive Stampin' Blend Marker.

Inside, I matted a piece of Whisper White with Garden Green for the writing panel. I stamped another leaf from the Forever Fern stamp set and added a left over strip of the DSP.

Thanks for stopping by.
