Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations blog hop from the Art with Heart Team.
This is our last CC blog hop for 2021, but we'll be back on January 5th to continue sharing our spotlight colour projects.
Our featured colour tonight is Misty Moonlight.
Misty Moonlight is a member of the Stampin' Up! In Colour Collection for 2020-2022 and will retire in May.
One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the ability to pre-order products from up coming new catalogues. One of the products I chose was the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper which happens to feature this pattern with Misty Moonlight.
Perfectly paired with another new product, a stamp set called In The Moment. The stamp set contains sentiments plus three lovely line drawn images which can be coloured in completely or stamped and partially coloured, as I have done. I've stamped in Misty Moonlight and used a sponge dauber to add colour to the pillows and comforter.
The heat embossed sentiment is also new, and comes from a stamp set called Blessings of Home which coordinates with the Heart & Home DSP. I added a length of the scalloped lace trim behind it. The stamped image is backed with a stitched so sweetly scalloped rectangle.
The new products will be available to customers from January 4th. If you don't already have an Australian demonstrator and would like to receive a copy of the Jan-June Mini and Sale-abration catalogues, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
That's it from me tonight everyone, thanks for stopping by.
Let's go see the rest of the team's Misty Moonlight creations.
Our next creative and talented team member is, Rachel Woollard.
As always, our lovely host Catherine Proctor will have the complete list of all tonight's participants on her blog.
Stay safe and well. See you all in the new year.
Merry Christmas. 🎅🎄

This beautiful paper was the perfect choice as the background to your focal image, Caroline; it looks like bed linen! Very pretty card, that showcases this gorgeous blue beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet, Caroline. I adore the touch of lace below the sentiment and that DSP is perfect. Reminds me a little of wallpaper for your sweetly coloured image. How beautiful is this stamp set?!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Caroline, the way you have only coloured part of the image is very effective. That DSP looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteCaroline, I feel instantly relaxed looking at your card with its soft monochromatic palette – In fact, as I type this I am sitting snuggled up with my dog and wearing blue! The partial colouring is so effective, just love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sneak peak of new products, Caroline. I love your choice of Misty Moonlight DSP and the partial colouring of the stamped image. I’m looking forward to playing with this set. You have certainly inspired me to give it a go. Xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your card made in my favourite blue. The partial water coloring of the image is very effective.
