Heart of Christmas - Week 8

Hello everyone and welcome to Week 8 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop from the Art with Heart Team.

I've let the gorgeous Designer Series Paper do all the talking on my card for this weeks creation.

If you love a vintage vibe then you need look no further than the Online Exclusive, Traditions of St. Nick 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I took my paper snips and fussy cut one of the images straight from the printed pattern. If fussy cutting is not your thing, then the Saint Nicholas Bundle from the Mini Catalogue includes dies that will cut out two of the St. Nicholas images.
The stamp and die set perfectly coordinates with this DSP.

I've simply decorated with a mix of sparkle gems and coloured pearls. That's all that was needed really because there is so much to love about the DSP itself and the timeless look of a gold embossed greeting.

I love my Scalloped Contours Dies and I think they help to add to the vintage feel and look of the card.
This is another great design that could be easily mass produced if you need to get a few cards made where you don't need to stress too much because the DSP does most of the work for you.

Thank you for stopping by on your way through our blog hop this week.

You'll be visiting the lovely, Judy May next.

If you happen to encounter any difficulties with linking to the next team members blog using the options above our lovely host, Sharon Davern will have the complete list of all tonight's participants on her blog.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon.

  1. Great use of these papers, Caroline. I really like the red paper behind St Nick, and how you've mounted it on a scalloped rectangle.
