The Heart of Christmas - Week 8

Thanks for stopping by today. We're up to Week 8 of sharing our Heart of Christmas inspiration blog posts.

Today's card is just a little bit on the cute side. What do you think?

I've used images from the 'Foxy Friends' photopolymer stamp set and the sentiment and greeting from the 'Oh, What Fun' set. Foxy Friends is such a versatile set, with so many ways of creating different little animals. This has got to be one of the cutest little reindeers I've seen, complete with his Real Red Enamel Shapes nose, sitting atop his stump with magic mushrooms growing around it - I wonder if they're full of Christmas magic!

The 'Wood Textures' DSP Stack is a perfect choice for a woodlands feel to this card, as is the little bow made from our Linen Thread. To curl the tails of the bow, I just ran them between my thumb nail and index finger and added a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue behind them to keep them in place. I traced over the letters of the sentiment with the Wink of Stella clear pen.

There are two different sized trees in the Foxy Friends stamp set and here I have stamped the smallest one. They make great Christmas trees. And I've added another Enamel Shape in Real Red, this time it's a star to adorn the top of the tree. For inks I have used Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler.

For cardstock I've used Thick Whisper White for the base, stamped images and the Stitched Shaped Oval, and Red Glimmer Paper for the scalloped Layering Oval.

This was a fun card to make and I hope you're enjoying browsing our blog posts each week.

Until next time...
