The Heart of Christmas - Week 19

Hi crafting friends and welcome to Week 19 of the Heart of Christmas.

This week I wanted to make a wreath card using the new Leaf Punch. (#144667)

 I have seen a few card designs on YouTube using the leaf punch to make a Christmas wreath and thought that I would give it a try.

My colours are Whisper White and Night of Navy with the punched leaves in Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, Silver and Champagne Foil and Night of Navy. It is always difficult to photograph anything with this amount of shimmer and shine and it does look a bit coppery, but the combination is just so pretty in real life. 

This is a better photo showing more of the silver tone. The card base measures 5 1/2" square when folded. The matted pieces are Silver Foil and Night of Navy. I cut the silver foil centre circle from the matted foil square to save my paper and ran that through the Big Shot using the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic TIEF. The Night of Navy circle is cut using one of the Stitched Shape Circles, both circles have been adhered with dimensionals. The sweet little greeting is from 'Teeny Tiny Sentiments' and I have heat embossed this in our silver embossing powder, and then from the 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set I found that the label stamp fitted perfectly around the greeting and I inked that up in Night of Navy and punched out with the coordinating Classic Label Punch, also adhered with dimensionals. Lastly, I just arranged the leaves around the embossed circle and glued in place with Tombow, then added my beautiful double bow made from the Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon and a few sparkly rhinestones.

On the inside I matted a piece of Whisper White onto Night of Navy and stamped the lovely sentiment from the 'Merry Mistletoe' stamp set in Night of Navy and added the gorgeous garland from the same set below that.
