Hi crafting friends and welcome to Week 21 of The Heart of Christmas with the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team.
I had a few circles left over from last weeks blog hop project, (For Dorothy), so I decided to make a card using them.
I started with a thick Very Vanilla card base that measures 4-1/8" x 5-1/2" when folded.
I cut a piece of the Bundle of Love Specialty DSP the same width as the card front by 3", and ran a strip of the gold Year of Cheer washi tape across the top and also across the top of the card itself. Using the left over Bundle of Love circles, I adhered the gold/vanilla one with Tombow and the Blushing Bride one with dimensionals. I hardly ever use my stash of Metallic Thread, (and I really should!), but I think it looks gorgeous here with the addition of the gold glimmer stars.

The reindeer in Gold Foil and the wreath in Blushing Bride are cut from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies. The greeting is from the 'Labels to Love' stamp set and is heat embossed in gold. The other embellishments are our Metallic Enamel Shapes in gold.
I decided not to stamp a sentiment inside, but rather leave it for more room to write a personal message. However, I stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed the little deer from the 'Carols of Christmas' stamp set and added some gold foil stars to mimic the card front. I have matted a piece of Very Vanilla onto some Blushing Bride CS to stay with the colour theme and again added a strip of the gold washi tape to bring it all together.
Thanks for stopping by this week, remember to check back next Wednesday to see what the team has created for Week 22.
For now, hop over to the blog of our lovely team leader Claire Daly to see what she has made, and, where you'll find a list of the team members who participated this week.
Until next time.....
Stay happy & stay crafty 😘
Caroline this card is so stunning...I really love the softness and richness of this colour combination and the way you highlight the metallic thread with the gold stars!
