Hi everyone, I have had so many ideas popping into my head this week and I'm really enjoying sharing them all with you. I hope you like and enjoy them too.
Do you ever wonder how else you could use a punch or a framelit or thinlit? I know I do and so today I'm sharing another way of using the Circle Tab punch.
Here I have used it as a closure on this fold flat style handbag. I punched out two Circle Tabs from silver foil and attached them either side of the bag with Tombow glue. However, before doing that, I added a small Neodymium magnet to each one with a glue dot. (I purchased the magnets off ebay).
It's easier to see in this photo how I attached the tabs. They remind me of the twist type closures on certain handbags.
And of course every handbag needs a bit of bling! - so I added a tassel, (a retired one), and stamped one of the images from the 'Flower Shop' stamp set and punched out with the Pansy Punch.
I attached the tassel and flower with a mobile charm cord that I purchased from my local discount shop, and some Metallic Enamel Shapes finish off the embellishing.
Oops! I almost left without telling you that the DSP is from A Whole Lot of Lovely and the embossing folder is the Quilt Top from the Christmas/Holiday Catalougue. (I forgot to add it to the product list below).
Well, I thank you again for hopping on and checking out what I have been making, and I hope to see you again soon.
Here are the products I have used:
