Petal Promenade July Class Project

Hello friends and welcome to tonight's blog post where I'm sharing my July class project with you all.

We made a selection of 3 greeting cards using the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.

Petal Promenade 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Our first card was a birthday card.

It's a Z-fold card and uses one of the mini floral square frames which I trimmed to fit the cardstock square using a Layering Square Framelit.

Next was a Sympathy card.

This is a tent fold card and features one of the rectangle frames.

And lastly, a thank-you card.

This is another tent fold card but in portrait presentation.

The greetings were heat embossed in copper, silver and gold using sentiments from the lovely 'Painted Glass' stamp set. Everyone agreed that the copper was the prettiest colour as it brought out the beautiful pink tones that are in the floral designs, it's certainly my favourite embossing powder colour.

The lovely Painted Glass stamp set and coordinating Thinlits Dies. These can be purchased separately or save 10% and buy as a bundle.

We packaged the cards in one of the Acetate Card Boxes and made a belly-band from a strip of the DSP and the ever so pretty Powder Pink 3/8" ruffled ribbon. The sentiment is from the 'Make A Difference' stamp set and it was heat embossed as well.
Below is a list of products I've used to create this set of greeting cards.
I hope you may have found some inspiration tonight for making your own set of cards using this beautiful DSP.
Thank you for stopping by.

I like to give my ladies a little thank you gift for coming along to class. Their support and friendship mean so much to me.

Here is a photo of their gift.
This is one of the acetate card boxes cut in half. Isn't this a clever idea for another way to use the boxes?! Not my idea though, unfortunately.
Inside was a Caramello Koala and a little bag of Christmas in July bling!

If you're leaving a comment below, thank you so much.
I read and appreciate them all. 💗

Until next time.....
Stay happy & stay crafty! 😘
