Hi everyone, the Art with Heart team are sharing Week 10 creations for the Heart of Christmas blog hop.
Our stash of Christmas projects is growing - have you started your's yet?
There's lots of sparkle happening on my card tonight.
I CASE'd the card from a former Stampin' Up! demonstrator in the U.S. with just a few changes.
I used Poppy Parade for the card base, scalloped circle and the poinsettia. I embossed the white panel with the Oh My Stars embossing folder and the circle behind the poinsettia with the Subtle embossing folder.
I enjoyed getting out the Eastern Medallions Thinlits and having a play, that's the lovely silver glimmer circle sitting on top of the scalloped circle.
I die-cut the poinsettia from the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits, it's a larger flower but I just took my paper snips and cut away the outer petals to leave the smaller flower - I attached it with the fine tip glue and added a little cluster of red rhinestones to the centre.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed in silver and backed this with a rectangle of the glimmer paper.
I'm not sure if I really like the addition of the bow, what do you think - yes or no?
It's time to hop on over to Claire's blog to see the rest of the team projects, just use the link below.
