Heart of Christmas - Week 7

Hello and welcome to Week 7 of the Heart of Christmas.

The Art with Heart team are back again tonight, sharing their Christmas creations for 2019.

I have gone for simple elegance in my card design, and it's so simple and easy to create beautiful, elegant projects using products from the amazing Brightly Gleaming suite.

It's usually very hard to photograph the true colour of our foils, but I think this time I may have fluked it.

Night of Navy with the gorgeous copper accents ooze elegance in my opinion. I had this idea of squares inside a square, and I'm really pleased with the outcome. Each of the four squares were die-cut with the Layering Squares dies. And, who would of guessed the Ornate Frames dies are part of a Halloween Suite? That's one that I've backed my sentiment with, the one with the filigree edging. They are just beautiful, and although I'm not into Halloween, I have to say that they look very cute in the samples on pages 52-53 of the Holiday Catalogue.

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and die-cut with a Stitched Rectangles die instead of fussy cutting it out. I echoed this with a Copper Foil stitched rectangle. The lovely rhinestones in Night of Navy are from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack.

I continued the simple elegance inside by using the same layering as the front of the card. On the Very Vanilla writing panel I stamped the little dots from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set in Night of Navy and the Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic ink. I fussy cut a tiny star from the specialty designer paper in the suite and added that too. I did the same thing inside my Week 6 card last week and thought I'd repeat it here as it looked so sweet.
