Hello & welcome everyone to Week 12 of the Heart of Christmas by the Art With Heart team.
Following on from my post last week, I'm sharing one of the two cards we made in our last card class. I'll feature the second card in next week's Heart of Christmas.
You might recall my #Elfie Split Panel cards that I shared in Week 9 - if not you can click here for a refresher.
We hadn't made a Split Panel card in class before, so it was a good chance for the ladies to try something new and different - and they loved it!
To coordinate with my tissue box cover from last week, I've used products from the Wrapped In Plaid suite. I used Cherry Cobbler for the card base and matched it with this lovely pattern from the designer paper pack. The tree and sentiment are from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.
The sparkly baubles on the tree are rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels, and the copper star on top of the tree is a Star Designer Element from the Brightly Gleaming suite.
On the inside I have used the largest of the Stitched Rectangles Dies for the writing panel, and stamped the outline tree in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped it low in the bottom right hand corner so that when the card is closed, it can't be seen.
This is a really simple and easy design, but you can change the whole look of it with any of Stampin' Up!'s amazing product suites.
To enjoy seeing the rest of our Week 12 creations, hop over to Claire's blog to see her project and the list of the other Art with Heart team participants.
Thanks for stopping by tonight.
