Hello and welcome everyone.
It's Week 19 of the Colour Creations Showcase from the Art With Heart team.
Tonight's featured colour is Granny Apple Green.
Granny Apple Green is from the Bright's Collection of Stampin' Up! colours. It's fresh and crisp, just like a yummy granny smith apple, and my favourite of all the greens.
3 3/4" x 8 1/4".
To make the card, I chose products from the Coming Home Bundle that's in our Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue. The Home Together Dies not only cut out stamped images from the Coming Home stamp set and the coordinating Designer Series Paper pack called Trimming The Town, but there are two dies that you can use to create a 3D treat box as well, shown in the photo below.
I stamped the smallest house in the Coming Home stamp set onto Real Red card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the house three times, die cut one full house, and then fussy cut out two roofs and two doors from the remaining two. I attached them with glue dots for a bit more dimension. I think it looks really cute.
I glued the little house to a Stitched Shapes circle die cut, that I dry embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder. I added this to a scalloped Layering Circles die cut in Granny Apple Green card stock.
Behind the scalloped circle I added loops of gold twine from the Forever Greenery Trim pack. I was hoping to be a little more random with the loop sizes, but that didn't happen. I trimmed the scalloped circle to line up with the edge of the Subtle 3D dry embossed Whisper White panel matted with Granny Apple Green, and attached it with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and it's heat embossed in white embossing powder onto Basic Black card stock and double cut with the long stitched rectangle die from the All Dressed Up dies. I use this die so much now for smaller stamped one word sentiments.
Inside the card I added a matted writing panel and stamped one of the images from the Prized Peony stamp set. The stamp reminds me of a trellis for climbing roses, and it reflects the pattern of the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. I stamped off the Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy ink for a softer look and sponged some Balmy Blue ink after stamping.
I forgot to mention that I sponged some Balmy Blue ink behind the scalloped circle before I attached it. The three hearts in Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy and Real Red have been embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and they are the inset hearts from the little treat box die I mentioned earlier.
To finish off the embellishing, I added three gold Gilded Gems.
Well that's it from me tonight, thank you for stopping by.
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the team's Granny Apple Green projects.
