AWH Team - Colour Creations Week 41 - Rich Razzleberry

Hello and welcome everyone.

It's Week 41 of the Colour Creations Showcase from the Art With Heart team.
Tonight's featured colour is Rich Razzleberry from the Regals Collection of Stampin' Up! colours.

I decided on a clean and simple design for this weeks card.

I love the Love Of Leaves stamp set that carried over from last year's Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue. Sadly though it's a set that I don't often stamp with so, this week I've showed it some love.

Love of Leaves Stamp Set.

The Rich Razzleberry ink when stamped is a very rich, dark colour and I wanted to show a softer side to it, so I used second generation ink to stamp the largest leaf from the stamp set and dies from the coordinating
Stitched Leaves Die set to cut and add detail.

The sentiment, also from the Love Of Leaves stamp set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink and with a bit of fiddling, (actually of LOT of fiddling), I've cut each of the words separately with the stitched rectangle die from the All Dressed Up die set. The bow is made with a die from the Pierced Blooms die set and a double bow of Linen Thread.

I glued a stitched rectangle strip behind the leaf panel and had a play with some gold leafing. I added tiny torn pieces of Tear & Tape adhesive and pressed on the leafing, brushing away the excess with my finger.

I did the same with the inside of the card too.

Mixing and matching different Stampin' Up! products is so much fun!
There will be a full list of the products I've used on my card at the end of this blog post.

Well, that's it from me tonight everyone. Thanks for stopping by. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the team's Rich Razzleberry projects.

Our lovely hostess Catherine, will have a list of all tonight's participants over on her blog.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon.

  2. I love the contrast that the darker sentiment and die-cut bow add, to your softly stamped image, Caroline. The gold leafing touches look lovely. I tried working with Rich Razzleberry and gold, but couldn't conjure up anything that looked balanced. Your card is just so pretty! Well done, getting those little stitched rectangles created!
