Hello and welcome everyone.
It's Week 42 of the Colour Creations Showcase from the Art With Heart team.
Taking centre stage this week is Rococo Rose, one of our retiring 2019-2021 In-Colours.
This is a really lovely dark, dusty pink and another of the Stampin' Up! colours I haven't used nearly often enough. I created two cards for this weeks showcase, and here's the first.
Yep, I've had those Pierced Blooms dies out once again. I really can't resist using them because they look so different and pretty in many of our card stock colours. Of course tonight we are showcasing Rococo Rose, and even though my flowers are white they have those lovely dusty pink centres.
Did you know we have Rococo Rose foil? The Love You Always Foil Sheets from the Jan-June Mini Catalogue include Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand and Rococo Rose. It's such a pretty colour and I just had to use it on my cards.
The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set to the Pierced Blooms dies - In Bloom. I've embossed it in white to echo the pink and white theme. I used the Messages Die to cut it out. There are 23 different apertures to suit lots of sentiments.
And now, here's card 2.
A slimline card this time. A size I don't often make, but I love how this one turned out. When folded it measures
8 1/4" x 4".
I've used the same elements as in card 1.
With the sentiment this time I masked off each word in turn before stamping with Versamark so I could cut them out individually with a Stitched Rectangle die. Before die cutting though, I ran the piece of card stock through the Subtle 3D embossing folder.
Sadly, this embossing folder is retiring and at the moment of writing this blog post it was still available and at a discount. I will really miss this lovely product. I love the subtlety it gives when you just need a little bit of texture - hence the name.....
On both cards I used three of the beautiful Elegant Faceted Gems. In the photo above you can see the faceted features more clearly. Aren't they gorgeous! And because these one's are transparent they picked up the colour of the Rococo Rose foil, so no need to colour them!
P.S. Can you spot the mistake? 😉
At the end of this blog post I will have a full list of the products I've used on my cards.
Well, that's it from me tonight everyone. Thanks for stopping by. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the team's Rococo Rose projects.
Our lovely hostess Catherine, will have a list of all tonight's participants on her blog.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon.
