A Happy "hoppy" Birthday!

Hello and welcome everyone.

Today I'm sharing the card that I made for our little granddaughters 5th birthday.

I had so much fun making this card!
All that gorgeous pink and purple and the sweet images from the Kangaroo & Company Bundle.

Kangaroo & Company Bundle. Stampin' Up! Jan-June Mini Catalogue.

There are so many gorgeous images in this stamp set with its coordinating dies. How could you not have fun creating with it!

I wanted a really fun element to the style of card so I chose a step-panel fun fold design. It folds flat so you can pop it in an envelope for posting - how awesome is that!

After stamping the kangaroo in Memento Tuxedo Black ink I coloured her in with the Crumb Cake combo pack of Stampin' Blends. I love working with these markers. They flow and blend so beautifully with minimal effort and you don't have to be an expert at colouring because they do most of the work for you.

The presents, party hat and butterflies were also stamped in Memento but I've coloured these in with the 2021-2023 In Colour Stampin' Write markers because I don't have them in the blends yet. But they are on my next order list!

Pink and purple are our granddaughters favourite colours. So my choice was easy - Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. I've used a Polished Pink pattern from the In Colour 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack and Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia card stock. The hearts are stamped in those two colours as well.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set.
I coloured the 'Happy Birthday' with the Stampin' Write markers and cut out with dies from the Stitched So Sweetly die set.
I tied bows with the Polished Pink open weave ribbon and the polka dot tulle ribbon which has sadly retired.

There's heaps of room on the back to write your personal message.

I've added some sparkle with the Wink of Stella pen and those gorgeous In Colour jewel rhinestones - so pretty!
I'll have a full list of all the products I've used on my card at the end of this blog post.

I really love this card and I think our little recipient will too.

Well that's it from me today everyone, thank you for stopping by.
If you have any questions about this card or anything else Stampin' Up! related please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon.
