Heart of Christmas - Week 17

Hi everyone.

Well, we have made it to the final week of the Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2023. We hope that you have found lots of festive inspiration during the 17 weeks of crafty makes from members of the Art with Heart Team.

So, for the last time this year - here is my card.

Two Deckled Circles were used to create my wreath.
In hindsight, I wish that I had used a smaller circle for the inside to give a wider wreath, but time wasn't on my side to remake it today.

Before cutting the circles I added colour to a piece of Thick Basic White card stock with a Blending Brush. The colours I used were Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie, but more of the yellow was used to diffuse the orange.  After that I added a few splashes of water and dabbed off the excess with paper towel.

Once it was completely dry I started stamping the holly & berries from the Sending Cheer stamp set in Pecan Pie. Stamping first and second generation gave me the effect I was looking for. I did the same thing with a sentiment stamp from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Then it was cut into the circles, and I love that you can just read a few of the words.

Next was some heat embossing. The holly & berries were embossed in gold, and the greeting in white. The holly was cut with the coordinating die from the Sending Cheer Bundle, and the greeting was cut with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes.

Embellishments are gold twine, sequins and pearls.
You'll find a list of the Stampin' Up! products I used to make my card below this post.

Thank you for stopping by on your way through tonight's blog hop. Enjoy the rest of the team's creations.

Next up we have the lovely, Rosa Leyden, with her final make for this years Heart of Christmas.

And for the final time for 2023 I will refer you to our lovely host, Sharon Davern, for the list of all tonight's participants if you have any problems with 'next blog' links.

Have a wonderful Christmas & New Year.
Stay safe and well. See you all again in 2024!
