Heart of Christmas Week 1

Hello stamping friends and welcome to Week 1 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2018 from the Art with Heart Team. This was such a popular blog hop last year that our lovely team leader Claire, decided to run it again this year.

Tonight I'm showing you a little sneaky peek at a couple of new products that are in the Christmas/Holiday Catalogue for 2018. Customers will be able to purchase from the catalogue on September 5th so be sure to ask your demonstrator for a copy.
As demonstrators, we're able to preorder products a month before, and when my lovely goodies arrived I got busy in the craft room putting them to good use.

As soon as I saw the Buffalo Check background stamp I knew I had to have it because I absolutely love the look of gingham!
I've used it to stamp on the little wood crate and the front of the gift tags.
I used a combination of just two colours - Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.

I chose these colours because of the gorgeous new burlap ribbon, which I just had to have too! It makes a great handle for turning the crate into a gift bag.

The ribbon has a Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White stripe down the centre and I stapled the ends together in keeping with the rustic look of this gift set.

The tags are 3" square and I made five of them. They are a folded card so you can write your message on the inside. The card front is embossed with the 'Oh My Stars' TIEF, and the sentiment is from the 'Time For Tea' stamp set. I purchased it as a bundle to get the coordinating framelits and 10% off. The checked image was die-cut with one of the dies from the set. For a little bit of sparkle I used some retired enamel star shapes.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy hopping through the blogs to see all the fantastic creations and maybe get those inspirational juices flowing for your festive makes.
