Hi everyone!
Welcome to week 28 of our Colour Creations challenge hop with the Art with Heart team.
Tonight's featured colour is Melon Mambo from our Brights Colour Family.
6" x 6" Designer Series Paper - Brights Collection.
I love this bright, bold pink! You can tone it down or jazz it up with our great range of Stampin' Up! colours, but for this card, bright and bold was the order of the day.
I made this card for a friend's birthday in April, that's April of next year! Yep, I'm organised, at least for this one.
I have combined Melon Mambo and silver foil, gold and silver heat embossing. The sentiment and images are from the 'Picture Perfect Birthday' and I think this is the first time I've used it. I love those candles!
I stamped each of the candles in Melon Mambo and then I stamped the two patterns and sentiment in Versamark over the top and heat embossed in silver. The flames are embossed in gold. I used the Subtle TIEF on one of the silver foil panels and again on the first layer of Melon Mambo. Hasn't this been a popular embossing folder?!
I added a half inch strip of the dsp to the inside of the card along the bottome edge. You can just see it in the photo above.
