Bird Ballad Double Easel Fold Card

Hello friends.

Tonight I'm sharing another double easel fun fold card. This time I used the gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to decorate it.

I used both sides of this pretty pattern as they really compliment each other well. Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake are coordinating colours in the DSP. Calypso Coral is not a colour that I use very often at all, but I love it paired with the Crumb Cake on this card. The base is Whisper White. Using a stitched oval die, I fussy cut the sweet birds as the main focal image and backed that with a regular oval and then a scalloped one. I popped this up on dimensionals and added it to the DSP and cardstock layers.

The sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake and is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set in the Beginners Brochure. If you love the Magnolia Lane Suite in the Annual Catalogue, this little stamp set is a must have. I used the ovals again but turned them to horizontal as I liked the look.
I made the bow with the Petal Pink striped organdy ribbon as the stopper and I added a gold faceted gem and a few basic pearls too. The remaining panels are just matted layers of cardstock and DSP.

I also added a touch of sparkle to the birds in the oval with my Wink of Stella pen.

I hope you have a go at making this fun fold card. I found the instructions on a YouTube video and just made a few small adjustments to my measurements.

Here is the link to that video.

Well, that's it from me this week.

As always, I want to thank you for stopping by and hope to see you soon. x
