Hello and welcome to Week 16 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop from the Art with Heart Team.
This week our spotlight colour is Early Espresso from the Neutrals Collection of Stampin' Up! colours.
It just also happened to look perfect with the Nothing's Better Than stamp set and coordinating Love You More Than die set.
And what's more perfect than chocolate on your birthday!
The Early Espresso layer is embossed with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder. It reminds me of the paper layer over the top of a beautiful box of fancy chocolates when you take off the lid. I chose a different coloured card stock for each of the chocolate die cut words. There's Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso - don't they sound yummy!
I just had to add some more tasty morsels inside the card, and a leftover strip of embossed Early Espresso.
There will be a list of all the products I used to create my card below.
Now it's time to check out the rest of the team's Early Espresso projects. Just click on the 'next blog' button at the end of each blog post to hop around.
The very talented Theresa Gerrard is up next.
If you find a broken link, the list of tonight's participants can be found on the blog of our lovely host, Catherine Proctor.
Stay safe and well. See you all again soon. 🌼

I agree - a perfect colour for a masculine card! The Parisian Flourish embossed layer immediately reminded me of the inner layer of a chocolate box; very clever, Caroline! I love the embossed and scalloped rectangles on your card front, too. Great job with this colour, and the complementary colours. :)
