Colour Creations Week 17 - Flirty Flamingo

Hello and welcome to Week 17 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop from the Art with Heart Team.

Our featured colour this week is Flirty Flamingo from the Bright's Collection of Stampin' Up! colours.

I'd describe it as a pretty, coral pink. You can just make out the orange undertones.

It's been ages since I had used the All Dressed Up dies to create this sweet gift bag. It's great for small items including choccies (my favourite), makeup, jewellery, gift cards or to hold a set of 3" square note cards.

I chose Flirty Flamingo card stock for the card bases and this gorgeous pattern from the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper. I think it goes perfectly with the Floral Squares Dies.

I used one of our 3 1/8" square acetate card boxes to hold the note cards and it fits very neatly into the bag.

To decorate the front of the bag I cut away the frame from one of the Floral Squares, snipped off the flower head and added a different flower instead.
The touches of bling are gilded gems and a gold twine bow from the Simply Elegant trim pack.

See below for a list of the Stampin' Up! products I used to create my project.

Now it's time to check out the rest of the teams Flirty Flamingo creations. You just need to click on the 'next blog' button at the end of each blog post to keep hopping around. Thanks for stopping by.

Up next is the very talented, Michele Taylor.

If you happen to find a broken link, the list of all tonight's participants can be found on the blog of our lovely host, Catherine Proctor.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon. 🌼

  9. Caroline I am absolutely blown away by your gorgeous set of cards and the little gift bag you made. I had never thought to use the die in such a way and certainly didn't know that the little acetate box fitted inside it so perfectly. Thanks for sharing. You have certainly inspired me and got the brain into gear to look at things in a different light.
