Colour Creations Week 21 - Gray Granite

Hello and welcome to Week 21 of the Colour Creations blog hop from the Art with Heart Team.

This week we are sharing our Gray Granite projects.
Gray Granite is a member of the Neutrals Collection of Stampin' Up! colours.

When thinking of ways to showcase Gray Granite for the blog hop, I took a look back through our Annual Catalogue. I often do this to see what designer series paper packs I have with our focus colour in them. I found my inspiration in the Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" DSP.

I love this pattern from the pack, but I did struggle to find just the perfect element to go with it at first. Originally, I had die cut a bird and that looked okay, but it didn't really grab me. I didn't have to look much further than the coordinating Perfect Plants Dies.

Some of the dies coordinate with images in the DSP that you can cut from, such as the foliage in the pot - I love this option!
The die cut pot is stamped tone on tone in Gray Granite and popped up with dimensionals over the top of a vellum circle. The leaves also have dimensionals behind them. The sentiment is heat embossed in white, and it's from the Art Gallery stamp set.

Just look at that gorgeous sparkly shimmer of the Gray Granite ribbon - isn't it pretty! I wrapped a length around the matted panel, securing it at the back with seal+ and tear & tape. The bow was added separately. Lastly, I added three loose flower flourishes in the lovely Polished Pink.

Here's the inside.

That's it from me tonight everyone, thanks for stopping by.
See below for a list of the Stampin' Up! products I used to create this card.

It's time to check out the rest of the team's Gray Granite projects.

Our next creative and talented team member is, Catherine Proctor. She's also the lovely host of our Colour Creations blog hop and will have the list of all tonight's participants and their blog links on her blog if you have any link issues.

Stay safe and well. See you all again soon. 🌼
