Colour Creations Week 46 - Soft Suede

Hello and welcome everyone.
This is our last Colour Creations blog hop from the Art with Heart Team for the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! year!

When the team get together next time we'll be showcasing the new In-Colours for 2022-2024 and continuing to inspire you each week throughout the year with colours from all the Stampin' Up! colour families.

Tonight we are shining the spotlight on Soft Suede from the Neutrals Collection.

Soft Suede is the perfect colour for coffee, so I grabbed my Nothing's Better Than stamp set to create tonight's card.

Getting together with friends for coffee, is something I love to do. There's "nothing better than" a combination of great company and a great cappuccino!  You could pop this little card in the mail to a friend the next time you were thinking of catching up for a coffee. It's certainly cuter than a text message!

The outline of the coffee cups are stamped in Early Espresso (haha - how appropriate for my coffee theme!), the fill in stamp is Soft Suede and the steam is stamped in Crumb Cake.
I went searching for some small flowers and found them in two new stamp sets from the upcoming new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. I've stamped them in Merry Merlot and Fresh Freesia. The small sparkle stamp from the Nothing's Better Than stamp set was stamped in Granny Apple Green and a sneak peek of one of the new In Colours - Tahitian Tide.

The sentiment is from another new stamp set and it was just perfect for this card. The new stamp set is called Cup of Tea and I've heat embossed in white onto Fresh Freesia card stock. The die cut circles are from the Layering Circles die set. On the scalloped circle I added dots with the white chalk marker.

Embellishments are loose flower flourishes, brass butterflies and a bow of gold simply elegant trim. Behind the stamped layer is a piece of our current In Colour 6" x 6" DSP in Fresh Freesia.

You will find store links to each of the Stampin' Up! products I used on my card below excluding the new products which aren't available to customers until May 3rd.

Well, that's it from me tonight everyone, thanks so much for stopping by on your way through our hop.

Diane Furniss, is our next creative and talented team member to share her creation with us all.

As always our lovely host, Catherine Proctor, will have the list of all tonight's participants over on her blog.

Stay safe and well everyone. See you again soon.

  9. Aha, great minds using this stamp set and the SITR technique. Anyone would think we organised this!!!! How cool that three of us used this set, but focused on a different image. Flowers, coffee and friends, I absolutely agree!
