Hello and welcome everyone to Week 9 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop from members of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team.
It's been a busy Monday, so I needed to make a quick card for tonight's blog hop. I wanted an elegant card and I didn't have to look beyond the beautiful patterns in the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper.
The gold foiling in the patterns is what gives this specialty paper that little touch of elegance. And what better way is there to add even more elegance and gold than to team the DSP with some gold brushed metallic layers.
The Lights Aglow DSP does have two coordinating stamp sets in the suite of products, but I chose to use a sentiment from the Trimming the Tree stamp set that you'll find in the Annual Catalogue on page 43.
It was heat embossed in gold of course and embellishments just had to be gold too.....
In my rush to get the card finished in time, I glued the main DSP pattern upside down. I don't think it really matters that much actually, but normally a garland of twinkling lights or baubles do hang the other way - oops!
You'll find thumbnail images below of the Stampin' Up! products I used to create my card. Each one is linked to my online store.
That's it from me tonight everyone, thanks so much for stopping by on your way through our hop.
Theresa Gerrard is the next creative and talented team member to share her Heart of Christmas project with us.
If you are having difficulties moving onto any of the blogs in tonight's hop, you can find the entire list of participants and their blog links with our lovely host, Sharon Davern.
Stay safe and well. See you all again soon.
