Heart of Christmas - Week 15

Hello and welcome everyone to Week 15 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop from members of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team.

After sharing my version of the February 2022 Sheetload of Cards by Call Me Crafty Al last week, I thought that I would make a box to hold the six cards and matching envelopes for this weeks HOC project.

It makes such a beautiful handmade gift.
Pop a colour coordinated pen inside for writing on the cards and finish off with a gorgeous bow and tag!

The base of the box is made out of Thick Basic White card stock and I made the lid out of window sheet (acetate).

Here are the measurements:

  • Base: 7 3/4" x 9 3/4"  Score @ 1 1/2" on all four sides.
  • Lid: 7 11/16" x 9 11/16"  Score @ 1 1/2" on all four sides.

I came up with these measurements so the C6 size envelopes would fit nicely inside with the cards. There's room for a pen and maybe even a few matching coloured candy canes.....
The lid sits inside the box, so a circle punch was used to create a thumb hole to lift it off.

I've made a matching tag out of the Storybook Gnomes DSP and a sentiment stamped onto basic white, both are cut out with squares from the Stylish Shapes dies.

There will be a list of the products I used to make the box below. Each thumbnail is linked to my online store where you'll find more information on that particular item.
If you have any questions about my project, please feel free to get in touch.

That's it from me tonight everyone, thanks so much for stopping by on your way through the hop.

Catherine Proctor, is our next creative and talented team member to share her Heart of Christmas project with us all.

If you are having difficulties with linking to the next blog in the hop our lovely host Sharon Davern will have a complete list of all those participating tonight.

Stay safe and well everyone. See you all again soon.
