Hello and welcome to Week 16 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop from members of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team.
In Week 12 of the blog hop team member Kate shared her absolutely gorgeous slimline card featuring three of the cutest dancing gnomes. Kate was inspired by a card from US Demonstrator Susan Campfield. Click here to see Kate's card if you missed it.
After seeing Kate's card I just knew that I would have to add some dancing feet to a gnome too!
I've created an Accordion Fun-Fold card because I wanted to feature not only the cute gnome, but a couple of the adorable patterns from the Celebrate Everything (Host) Designer Series Paper.
This generous 48 sheet pack of 12" x 12" double sided DSP from the Mini Catalogue has some of the most gorgeous, bright and fun patterns that I've seen in one pack! And it was the perfect choice for a backdrop to my cute little dancing gnome.
The inside scalloped rectangles line up behind the front one when the card is closed. The gnome is attached to two layers of Granny Apple Green card stock to give it more rigidity and the first layer is embossed with the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder. The centre scalloped rectangle is also double layered.
The 'Merry Christmas' sentiment was masked off from the stamp that's in the Kindest Gnomes stamp set and it's stamped in Shaded Spruce. I added a touch of sparkle to the hat with three basic rhinestones.
Below is a list of the products I used to make my card. Each thumbnail is linked to my online store where you'll find more information on that particular item.
