Colour Creations - Week 39

Hello everyone. Welcome to Week 39 of the Colour Creations blog hop from the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team.
This week we are shining the spotlight on the soft, cool and calming colour of Pool Party.

Pool Party is a member of the Subtles Collection of Stampin' Up! colours.

Inspiration for my card this week came from page 96 of the Annual Catalogue.

I kept the same layout but used different products.

The Hues of Happiness 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper have these beautiful classic roses and a variety of leaves that you can cut directly from the pattern sheet using the coordinating Blossoming Happiness Dies.

Pool Party, along with Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy and Basic White are just a few of the fabulous colours in this gorgeous DSP pack.

I added texture to the Basic White layer using the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder, and then angle cut the bottom edge with the chunky scalloped edge die from the Scalloped Contours set.

I love the beautiful scripty flow of this birthday greeting from the Go To Greetings stamp set - the perfect choice to compliment the elegance of the card. It was heat embossed in white onto Pool Party card stock.
Finally, a scattering of basic pearls to complete the elegant look.

Current Stampin' Up! products were used to create my card and you will find thumb nail images below that are linked to my online store.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It's time to say goodbye and send you on to our next lovely blogger and team member, Rachel Woollard.

If you experience issues linking to any of the blogs, our lovely host, Catherine Proctor has the complete list of tonight's participants on her blog.

Stay safe & well. See you all again soon.
